The possibility of sending voice messages has been around for a long time. If you can't reach a person on his mobile phone, on Yahoo Messenger or other IM applications, you can record a message and your friend will play it later. HiFi Audio Mail works on a similar principle, but it focuses on emails. It provides every feature you need to send recordings of your voice by email. The software is designed for speed and comfort, so you will not encounter any difficulties.

You just need to select a destination folder and click a button to install HiFi Audio Mail on your computer. It works on Windows XP and any later edition, including Windows 8. Furthermore, you can associate the application with any email account.

As long as you have a microphone, plugged into your computer, the software lets you start recording right away, without prompting you for anything. Unlike conventional means of communication, HiFi Audio Mail offers a higher recording quality. In other words, a recording will sound as if the person is sitting right next to you. Options for recording, playing or pausing are located on the upper edge of the interface, so you will spot them immediately. Your recordings are listed in the central area of the window, along with their durations, sizes and other details. The recipient's address, subject and other information can be specified in different fields, beneath the recordings list.

You may create multiple recordings and store them in the same list. All it takes to send a recording, to a specified address, is to select it and click the Send button. Before sending the recording, you may attach files or hyperlinks to your message. In addition, HiFi Audio Mail makes it possible to compile a contacts list. Clicking the Addresses option will bring up a notepad, where you can type or paste your email addresses. Saving addresses gives you the possibility of selecting them from a drop menu, when you need to specify a recipient.

If you want to send a recording to more than one person, you may select multiple addresses, one after another, from the same drop menu. Alternatively, you may create distribution lists and select them like addresses, from the same drop menu. The settings panel also contains options for configuring your SMTP server. Besides the usual information, like SMTP address, username, password and so on, you can also select a picture of yourself. Other options, on the same window, allow you to test your settings or create a message, that will accompany the recording.

Pros

The software lets you send a recording of your voice to one or more email addresses. It comes with its own recording feature and the output format is compatible with any operating system, including Windows and Mac OS X. All recordings are listed on the program's interface and you can just select one, choose a recipient and click a button to send any recording.

Cons

There are no disadvantages to mention. HiFi Audio Mail brings a fresh approach to sending emails. Due to its straight forward design, you can record your voice and send it by email as fast as possible, from the comforts of your desktop.
